You can play along in GCEA tuning in the same key as the video if you put your capo on the 4th fret. Watch for the key change at the bottom of the first page!

I've also added a Downtown Parody with lyrics written by Susan Kelso-Martin of the Lanark Ukulele Group, but with the key change that BUGs love.

Tony Hatch received the 1981 Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. "Downtown" also made Clark the first UK female artist to have a single certified as a Gold record for US sales of one million units and won a Grammy Award for "Best Rock and Roll Song" 1965.
