Churchill Ukulele Group (CHUG) - September to mid-June. There is a drop-in fee ($). Contact Laura, at Laura.Stephen2@yahoo.ca. All levels of uke players meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Churchill Senior's Centre, 345 Richmond Road at Churchill. Don't play the ukulele? No problem - come and sing! Lyrics and chords are displayed. Not available Wednesday mornings? Enquire about our new monthly afternoon acoustic sing-along jam.

Kingston Ukes Jam Session - An amateur group of ukulele players, striving to improve and have fun playing the ukulele. They meet every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 and welcome any level players from the community who would like to join in. They use a large screen to follow chords but they also bring new songs on paper to share. There are usually between 5-10 people at the jams.  Join their Facebook page to keep in touch.

Prior Ukulele Group (PUG), Arnprior, Ontario - held at the Senior Active Living Centre (SALC), 77B Madawaska Street, every Friday from 11 to noon. There is a membership fee for joining SALC. Red Bird - Not only the place where we hold our BUG Jams, but a terrific music school offering private, semi private, and group lessons to students of all ages and abilities in ukulele, voice, song-writing, etc., by talented, highly qualified instructors. I've had an opportunity to listen to some of their group lessons for children and they're having great fun and learning lots!

Cynthia K Music, CANADA:  Private and group classes available online. Cynthia Kinnunen is a music educator, songwriter/arranger, researcher, and advocate for music education and community music. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honours), a Master of Arts in Community Music, she is a staff member os James Hill's Uketropolis, is a Level 3 James Hill Ukulele Initiative instructor, the highest level in the JHUI Program, and is a sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University teaching ukulele-related courses.

James is a classically trained Canadian musician, with a Bachelor of Music Degree, who has focused on the ukulele, both as his primary instrument and as a method of music instruction. During his teenage years he was a key member of the renowned Langley Ukulele Ensemble. James went on to co-author the Ukulele in the Classroom method book series with J. Chalmers Doane, the trail-blazing teacher who pioneered the use of ukuleles in Canadian schools.  In 2010, James launched the JHUI Teacher Certification Program, the first of its kind in the world.
