Kingston Ukes Jam Session - An amateur group of ukulele players, striving to improve and have fun playing the ukulele. They meet every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 and welcome any level players from the community who would like to join in. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honours), a Master of Arts in Community Music, she is a staff member os James Hill's Uketropolis, is a Level 3 James Hill Ukulele Initiative instructor, the highest level in the JHUI Program, and is a sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University teaching ukulele-related courses.

James is a classically trained Canadian musician, with a Bachelor of Music Degree, who has focused on the ukulele, both as his primary instrument and as a method of music instruction. During his teenage years he was a key member of the renowned Langley Ukulele Ensemble. James went on to co-author the Ukulele in the Classroom method book series with J. Chalmers Doane, the trail-blazing teacher who pioneered the use of ukuleles in Canadian schools. In 2010, James launched the JHUI Teacher Certification Program, the first of its kind in the world.
