In 1974, Cat Stevens recorded a version of the song which peaked at number six on the Hot 100, number one in Canada twice, on September 28 and October 19. In 1993, Jimmy Buffett covered and recorded the song. His version peaked at number 74 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
