Bytown Ukulele Group (BUG) International Ukulele Orchestra

Mark and I put out an invite to anybody from our Bytown Ukulele Group in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, who would like to get together occasionally to have fun play multi-part ukulele arrangements. We had to limit the group size to ten because we meet in our living room. Eight enthusiastic volunteers, plus the two of us, and have had four fun afternoons so far - some learning how to play tab and all of us learning to play multi-parts together. We all bought Sally Carter's Ukulele Ensemble 1 book and after only two rehearsals of her songs, we played Ukulele Knockout and Slim Pickings as an open mic at our April BUG Jam in front of eighty-four (84) other ukulele players to show them how much fun it can be! Something a little different from our regular jam songs! Bravo to Sharon, Jennie, Scott, Kathy, Lynne, Deborah, Bonnie, Kat!
