This will be interesting. It's a fantastic song but I don't see it as a group sing-along. Let's hope it works.

You are probably right. I am hoping there will be enough songs posted that we can skip the ones that may not work.

Beautiful song Mike - never heard it before! Have a look at the print version if you wouldn't mind - I added in the instrumental breaks where the fiddle plays along, just in case in the future we could get one of our fiddle players to do it because it adds so much to the exotic feel of the song!

At BUG night this week we could certainly instruct people to leave out those chords if you'd prefer. Waddya think?

That is nice Sue, I am not sure how well it will work though, I find the instrumental breaks tough on songs that are a bit obscure. I will certainly give it a try over the next few days.

I am liking the instrumental breaks, they work real well for me, though I do know the song. The breaks play nicely on the harmonica too, Hopefully we will have all the harmonica players in attendance.

I'm glad - the chord progressions are so pretty and I'll think it won't be too hard to follow because they're just 4 beats per bar for each bracket [Am][Am][G][G] etc. It would be a great opportunity because it's not too fast for some ukulele noodling and using different chord inversions.
