"Honeycomb" also reached number one on the R&B Best Sellers chart and number seven on the Country & Western Best Sellers in Stores chart. It became a gold record.

So I learn something new every day. The Jimmy Rodgers that sings this song is not the same Jimmy Rodgers who sang "in the Jailhouse Now" and is largely credited as the father of country music. No, this Jimmy Rodgers was born 10 days after the death of the older Jimmy.
