    According to a poster on YouTube: "Pussywillows, Cat-tails" is the 8th track on Gordon Lightfoot's third album, "Did She Mention My Name", released in 1968, and says Lightfoot notes the inspiration for the song came from being around streams and wetlands when growing up in Orillia, ON.
